Norman Reedus, the actor who plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, has already had a tense stint in real life. In 2005 he was in a terrible car accident in Germany, which caused him to lose his left eye, the need to wear a glass eye and four screws in his nose. The Walking Dead, however, at first, was not accepted for production by HBO, since the channel found the comic series too violent. The rights, however, were later acquired by AMC, which finally carried out the production. As a destination, HBO later chose the creation of Game of Thrones.
